Before Your Treatment
4Avoid blood thinnersAvoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil (omega-3) 3 to 5 days before the treatment to limit bruising related to the numerous micro-injections. Never stop a prescribed medication (anticoagulant, aspirin for cardiac purposes) without your doctor's approval.
Avoid AlcoholDo not consume alcohol for 24 hours prior to the procedure to limit bruising.
Arrive with clean skinCome with clean skin or scalp, without makeup, cream, or hair products on the area to be treated.
After Your Treatment
11Do not touch the areaDo not touch or rub the treated area for at least 6 hours to avoid infection or displacement of the product.
Avoid sportsAvoid any intense physical activity for 24 hours to prevent increasing swelling.
Avoid exposure to heatAvoid sauna, steam room, hot yoga, and direct sun exposure for 48 hours: heat can increase swelling.
